Children are curious in nature.They want to know why their parents has asked them not to touch or play with electric equipments and some other equipments in the house,especially in the kitchen.
As parents don't just tell children not to touch these equipments.Make sure you explain what happens to a child that goes against their parents instructions by touching these equipments.
Describe or show children charts or picture books of the aftermath of home accidents such as shock or sustained burns on the skin.
These steps makes the child reasons because they are very intelligent and choose between staying safe and not touch such equipments or otherwise.
