"As much as we thirst for approval,we dread condemnation"
-Hans Selye
Constructive criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive & negative comments,in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one.
The purpose of constructive criticism is to improve the outcome.
The manner in which we deliver criticism matters a lot. When both the giver and receiver approaches issues with a level of professionalism it saves a lot of unwanted resentment at the behavior of the giver and the acceptance on the part the receiver.
The truth is criticism doesn't have to be a dirty word.
