Reflect

The wants and needs of humans are insatiable.With this basic fact it is left to us to be contented with the little God has blessed us with. lt is necessary that we learn to stop our minds from wandering around and gazing at other people's blessings and achievements and stop using the success of other people as a yardstick to measure our progress or failings. Most times we get so impatient when we seek favours and don't get it as fast as we want. Failing to believe either God has something better for us or the favour we seek for is not good enough for us.




We need to learn to take advantage of God's favour on us. ls it the free air we breathe in ? There are countless other blessings we can't really quantify. Yet,we keep asking God for more and we keep getting his mercies and only get worried and always in a haste when we don't always get what we ask from God and start comparing our status with others,which makes us angry and sometimes jealous and dis-satisfied.


Don't we then think we own our creator regular thanks for all the blessings in our lives by reflecting and making it a habit to say "it's well" and "thank you God" whether our requests are granted or not.
