Selfie Time
I have attempted taking a selfie several times and never come up with a good picture.l tried last week and got another "same as usual shots"
So today l decided to try it out again after reading a write -up by a friend and highlighted a great qoute from the write - up.
“You will never know how much you can
accomplish until you try. ...
And l said to myself "you are going to take a selfie today and it is going to be nice"
Yippee!
I finally got a nice one.
Today l want to liken this simple act to our endeavours we have made attempts to get right and we still not making a headway.
Never give up!
Just read this to yourself " You will never know how much you can
accomplish until you try. ... head for making your dreams come true.

It is okay to ask for help.
I have been battling with Writer's block for some days now.
So l spoke to a friend about it and he suggested reading a Book.At first,l wondered what reading and reading has got to do with Writer's block. I took the advice and read and read and kept surfing from site to site and was l amazed at the numbers of topics l wanted to write about starting from this moment.
Sometimes it is okay to ask for help because you can't know it all. You will be amazed at the benefits of asking for help and what it does to you.
5 big benefits of asking for help.
By Unstuck
1.Relationship building.Just imagine the smart, connected people you could meet if you put out the call for help. Or, if the assistance comes from someone you know, your bond will get stronger, more familiar, more relaxed and satisfying.
2.Happiness giving.Plainly put, people like to help. They find it gratifying that they can make someone else’s life easier. When you give them that chance, you are making at least two people’s worlds a little brighter.
3.Competence shining.Akin to making someone happy, allowing a person to help you lets them tap into their superpower, be a hero, and enjoy a sense of purpose. That makes the act of accepting help one of generosity, not neediness.
4.Health bringing. With help comes relief, and relief goes a long way in stamping out energy-sapping stress and negativity. In short, you’ll feel, think, and act better.
5.Productivity driving. Help, of course, will let you be more efficient, successful, creative, useful—all the things that you crave in your stuck moment.

Do you remember?
Do you remember?
When we were much younger.
So much laughter !
So much fun !
We jumped and bathed in the rain.
We shouted with lots of energy and played with sand.
Do you remember?
We merry with little troubles on our mind.
We talked and had no grudges.
We feed our tummies and careless how the food came by.
We slept with lots of excitement and wake up with loads of liveness and pleasant dreams.
Do you remember?
When we were much younger.
So much laughter!
So much fun!

My lips are sealed and my heart is open.
My heart is open.... My lips are sealed....
My heart is open.
My lips are sealed.
My heart is open.
Sometimes we have the opportunity to peep
into others lives.
The things we see and hear.
Makes one appreciates the little things in our
lives.
My lips are sealed.
My heart is open.
We often feel saddened.
We often feel what a waste.
But again a walk downtown to reality of life
melts away our ugly thoughts.
My lips are sealed.
My heart is open.
This is a journey we embark on.
This is who we are.
This is the life we live.
Sometimes it's high with goodies.
Sometimes it's just our normal lives.
Sometimes it's nothing we want to talk about.
But again a peep into others lives makes our
lives the best.
A walk downtown to the reality of life melts
our ugly thoughts away......
And again............ My lips are sealed.
My heart is open.
Redeemed!!! I rather remain appreciative.
I rather remain thankful.
I rather remain open to the realities of life.
And then.
My lips will be full of praises.
My heart will be open to tidings of life.

A glimpse into the future.
A glimpse into the future. "The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn"
Alvin Toffler
It's been a while I wrote on my blog. I have been very busy with lots of activities towards career development. My head is full of lots of new information for futuristic thinking and amsearching for where to download it.What other place than my blog to everyone inspired.
Before inspiring into the future we have to have a picture of what we want.
It's normal for us to relax and do the same thing, the same way every time.It makes things easier we think, but have we thought about thinking outside box and searching for something new and we will be marvelled at the extent we are missing at the latest technologies on our various fields. We are living in exponential time where many things are changing so fast and many things are controlled by the mind.
We need to open our hearts to solve new things, open our eyes to see new things and open our ears to hear about new things.
Probably just a new dimension into our businesses will be a turning point for us and we begin to smile at the successes we have achieved.
Get Inspired and have a glimpse into the future.Start engaging in activities that brings out a new and greater dimension in your life,in your place of work and in your business so that you can feature in the picture of the nearest future.

Emerge
It woke me up at night.
Same throbbing feelings .
Tick tock! tick tock!
Same feelings in my head.
It flashed at me at dawn.
Same fluttering pulses.
Bang!Bang!
Same thoughts in my mind.
It sketched out at sundown
Same convincing touch.
Knock! knock!
Same pictures staring at me.
Hooray!
Afterwards
Same scene at cockcrow.
With an energized stride.
Throbbing feelings.
Fluttering pulses.
Convincing touch.
Came to emerge !

Why you need to know your Strengths.
Why you need to know your Strengths
Yesterday I was having an interactive discussion with some few teachers during a training and we spoke at length about knowing our strengths and channelling our energy, passion ,zeal and all we have got to make it a hit!
Have we stopped to think why some people just excel with flying colours at what they do.
Is it just luck?
Is it a guessing game?
Is it Strengths?
Yes it is Divine.......
But do we also realise understanding strengths and weaknesses playing out here.Which makes me want to further probe and learn more on understanding our strengths and the advantages of using it wisely.
What are Strengths?
Strengths are a unique combination of your skills, talents, knowledge and experience. You have many Strengths, some are obvious, but many others aren’t. Many of your Strengths go underutilized, unappreciated, and too often, unrewarded.
Reasons Why We Need To Know Our Strengths.
1. Saves you time – Finding out what you are good at will allow you to save time on having to re-learn a skill or job. Not that you are trying to study or check out your other career options, but if you are, knowing which talents or skills you have will help you narrow your choices right away
2. Allows you to grow even more – Sitting down and writing down what you are strong at, or what you can excel at, can help you branch out and aim even higher than you were before. You can achieve so much more than you thought you could!
3. Boosts your self confidence – Finding out what your strong points are, no matter what they are, will definitely give you a boost in self confidence. They might even be skills like drawing, writing or cooking. When we feel confident, we can achieve so much more.
4. Makes you a happier person – When you feel good about yourself, you know you can do anything! Deep inside, knowing you have a skill set that will give you an edge will definitely make you a happier person.
5. You can be an inspiration and guide for others – When you have taken the time to check and analyze your strengths, you can now use that to be an inspiration and a guide for others. You can be the light at the end of the tunnel for others. Your boss will love you for it.
